Ken Fujimoto
Associate Organizing Director

Ken Fujimoto has had the privilege and opportunity to serve as an organizer his entire career.  Beginning with the United Farm Workers (UFW), he next helped launch an organizing project in Mississippi for woodcutters.  With stints at SEIU and Neighbor-to-Neighbor, he had a long tenure with projects of the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF) across the southwest.  Most recently, he focused his attention to training and developing teachers, students, and parents in the public school arena.  He became attracted to CAUSE because of its engagement with the farm worker communities across the Central Coast, a long-time, continuing passion.  

Ken has a daughter Aiko who works in the social media sector, a son Kenji beginning his first year at UCLA, and a partner Kathy who leads No Kid Hungry in California.  He is proud of their achievements and being wonderful human beings.
