Kristian Nunez
Policy Advocate

Kristian Nuñez was born and raised in the Central Coast of California, originally from Santa Barbara, he grew up in Carpinteria and moved to the Westside of Ventura at a young age. He is a first generation individual and comes from a household of immigrant parents who are from Mexico City, Mexico. As a first generation student, he graduated from Carpinteria High School in 2013 and attended Santa Barbara City College in 2019 before transferring with an AA in Sociology. In 2021, he completed his B.A. in Sociology at California State University, Northridge and soon after joined CAUSE as an intern in the summer of that same year. 

Kristian now focuses his work as a Policy Advocate within the community he grew up in on the Westside of Ventura and is dedicated to improving local housing policy and tenant issues.
